Ruben Amorim reveals Kobbie Mainoo will be out for a few more weeks, following Amad Diallo’s long-term break after United’s 1-0 defeat to Spurs.

Amad suffered an ankle ligament injury in training this week after impressing for the Red Devils, scoring six goals in the last four games in all competitions.

Amorim also reflected on United’s performance in the defeat to Spurs, which was settled by James Maddison’s first-half strike and left the Red Devils 15th in the table.
He said: “The big difference was the goal they scored. We didn’t score. We had chances.
“We’re had a different approach with the players that we had. We had to change in the week. We created situations. In the end the biggest difference was that they scored and we didn’t.”
